Over three days, participants will gain experience with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW (AC/DC), and cutting processes while having access to an open shop environment for guided practice. Whether you're exploring a welding career or enhancing your skills, this fast-paced course provides the fundamentals, safety practices, and real-world application needed to build confidence in welding. During this course, you will gain knowledge and skills that may help save a life. You will learn the basics of first aid, the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, and how to help. You will also learn how to recognize when someone needs CPR, how to call for help, and how to give CPR and use an AED (automated external defibrillator).

Marketing Bootcamp

During this bootcamp, entrepreneurs and small business owners starting their businesses or rebranding their business can learn how to use social media, newsletters, and email campaigns to grow their customer base. Participants will leave with introductory skills on the free version of Canva to create social media ads and newsletters, understanding of how to conduct marketing campaigns, and step-by-step instructions on how to utilize Facebook and Instagram for marketing. *All businesses must have a logo, website, and business email address to attend the training. If you do not have a logo or website, please reach out to  thebusinessstudio@lccc.wy.edu. We will help you obtain these items before the beginning of the training.
