This 16-week online course is designed to introduce participants to the skills necessary for the Telehealth Coordinator role in healthcare facilities, touching the lives of patients in urban, and rural settings across the state. Telehealth delivers high-quality, coordinated patient care from diverse devices: smart phone, tablet or home computer. Virtual appointments ease the burden of travel to distant appointments offering patients face-to-face interaction.  There are no pre-requisites to the course.  A basic proficiency level in MS Office Suite and medical terminology is recommended.
