Are you an Excel Power User hungry for more? Microsoft's Power BI is a logical progression, building upon your existing knowledge of Excel and data analysis. Its data connection capabilities and visualization features surpass those found in spreadsheets, enabling you to create interactive worksheets and dashboards. Power BI's data visualizations are invaluable for exploring, analyzing and reporting on insights and trends, which can then be shared with your team or clients to facilitate better decision-making. Topics covered include: connecting to, analyzing, cleaning, transforming, loading, visualizing and reporting data with Power BI. Books are provided, along with in-person computer lab activities. As Power BI builds upon and extends numerous spreadsheet and data management concepts, it is strongly recommended to have completed Excel levels: 1, 2, 3, PivotTables, and Power Pivot courses as prerequisites, although they are not mandatory for enrollment in this course.
