Do you enjoy the incredible data manipulation of Excel PivotTables? Ready to power-up and perform more impressive analyses on larger data sets? This half-day course, the second of a 2-part series (preceded by "Excel: PivotTables"), will teach you how to use Excel's powerful Power Pivot add-in, to grant access to an extensive set of data processing, rearranging and summarizing features, including the Power Pivot Data Model. Topics covered include: navigating Power Pivot, managing data relationships for creating Power Pivot reports, creating calculated fields, columns, KPIs, using CUBE functions and also DAX date and time functions. Books are provided, along with in-person computer lab activities. This course is the second of a 2-part series, so prior successful completion of "Excel: PivotTables" is required. As this course builds upon and extends numerous Excel concepts, it is also strongly recommended to have completed Excel levels: 1, 2, 3 courses as prerequisites, although they are not required for enrollment in this course. This course along with its Part 1 companion: "Excel: PivotTables," collectively qualify as "Excel 4: Data Analysis."
